visiting a new place or looking for a particular business in your area?
I found a web-based Points of Interest website optimized for iPhone -
InfoSpace Find It! has 8 Main Categories to browse or you can enter a name or a keyword to find a business. You can search by zip code or address.
navigate your iPhone’s Safari to : http://fiweb.infospace.com/iphone and try it yourself

I’ve tried a few IM options for iPhone and the one I like the most is beejive. Very well optimized for iPhone web2.0 app.
unlike meebo you can set session timeout and stay connected even when browsing other websites or apps on your phone, tweak various settings to your appeal. it saves your login info on your phone and sends it to their server via ssl.
navigate your safari to http://iphone.beejive.com
and it’ll bring you to this screen:

NB: First time visit it may show a “Get Started” button.
tap on the “+” sign next to accounts and it’ll take you to this screen :

from here you can tap on the network and it’ll pull the list of networks available for you to log into: AIM/.Mac; Google Talk; ICQ; Jabber; MySpace; Windows Live (MSN); Yahoo!
Fill in your username abd password, then choose a Login As status, select wether to save the account and tap Add at the top right. It’ll attempt to connect to verify your account and will add it upon successful login.
You can add this way all accounts you have and connect to whichever you want or to all of them at the same time.
Tap on the “wheel” at top right to adjust your Settings where you can customize the look and feel that you prefer. You can select a theme, adjust Buddy Settings, Chat Settings etc.
